As a freelancer I work with my own clients and as support to a few agencies. I have extensive experience of the whole design process – client and project management, from concept through to print.
I pride myself on my work ethic and attention to detail. I enjoy forming strong, collaborative relationships with clients, their design needs are my main priority and I relish the process of creating solutions to a brief within that dynamic. I think design is about creativity flourishing within these constraints.
I originally studied fine art (then subsequently design) and have recently been dedicating more time to developing an artistic practice alongside my design work. I enjoy drawing and painting, especially from life, particularly portraiture. I love the mental absorption that creative activity can bring, believing it to be useful and transformative for all, and am starting to facilitate workshops that give people a chance to experience this joy and focus.
